According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the export of cotton fiber (HS Code: 5201) amounted to 15.4 thsd metric tons.
The export dropped by 4.5 thsd metric tons (-22.7%) compared to the previous month.
The export of cotton fiber year-on-year, compared to December 2023, grew by 5.7 thsd metric tons (+58.5%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the export increased by 7.7 thsd metric tons (2.0 times).
Year-to-date, the export of cotton fiber totaled 94.7 thsd metric tons, up by 16.8 thsd metric tons (+21.5%) compared to the previous year.
