According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the export of steel wire (HS Code: 7217) totaled 452.2 metric tons.
The export dropped by 383.1 metric tons (-45.9%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the export of steel wire declined by 295.6 metric tons (-39.5%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the export increased by 123.2 metric tons (+37.4%).
The export of steel wire YTD amounted to 3.3 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 333.6 metric tons (+11.1%).
