According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the export of refined copper (HS Code: 7403) in August 2024 amounted to 42.6 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the export grew by 4.5 thsd metric tons (+11.7%).
Year-on-year, the export of refined copper dropped by 6.4 thsd metric tons (-13.0%) compared to August 2023.
The export dropped by 3.3 thsd metric tons (-7.1%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).
Year-to-date, the export of refined copper totaled 322.6 thsd metric tons, up by 48.1 thsd metric tons (+17.5%) compared to the previous year.
