According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of sunflower seeds (HS Code: 1206) in February 2024 amounted to 16.3 thsd metric tons.

The import grew by 5.2 thsd metric tons (+46.6%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of sunflower seeds declined by 11.3 thsd metric tons (-41.0%) compared to February 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2022), the import showed a decrease of 8.9 thsd metric tons (-35.4%).

Year-to-date, the import of sunflower seeds reached 27.4 thsd metric tons, down by 17.6 thsd metric tons (-39.1%) compared to last year.
