Kazakhstan: Imports of sunflower seeds for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of sunflower seeds (HS Code: 1206) in August 2024 reached 12.8 K MT.

The import decreased by 5.5 K MT (-30.2%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of sunflower seeds dropped by 11.1 K MT (-46.4%) compared to August 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import showed a decrease of 319.5 MT (-2.4%).

Year-to-date, the import of sunflower seeds reached 142.6 K MT, down by 24.1 K MT (-14.5%) compared to last year.
