According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of sunflower seeds (HS Code: 1206) in February 2025 reached 8.7 thsd metric tons.

The import decreased by 2.8 thsd metric tons (-24.5%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to February 2024, the import of sunflower seeds showed a year-on-year decrease of 7.6 thsd metric tons (-46.4%).

The import dropped by 18.8 thsd metric tons (3.2 times) compared to the same month two years ago (February 2023).

Year-to-date, the import of sunflower seeds reached 20.3 thsd metric tons, down by 7.1 thsd metric tons (-25.9%) compared to last year.
