According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of palm oil (HS Code: 1511) in July 2024 amounted to 2.0 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 823.5 metric tons (+72.9%).
In comparison to July 2023, the import of palm oil showed a year-on-year decrease of 1.3 thsd metric tons (-40.1%).
Relative to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import declined by 2.6 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
The YTD import of palm oil amounted to 20.5 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 11.4 thsd metric tons (-35.7%) compared to the same period last year.
