, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of preserved fruits (HS Code: 2008) in May 2024 amounted to 7.1 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 1.8 thsd metric tons (+34.5%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to May 2023, the import of preserved fruits showed a year-on-year increase of 2.5 thsd metric tons (+54.5%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 4.1 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
The import of preserved fruits YTD amounted to 26.2 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 7.2 thsd metric tons (+37.9%).
