Kazakhstan: Imports of food preparations for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of food preparations (HS Code: 2106) in August 2024 amounted to 5.7 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 209.3 metric tons (-3.6%).

Year-on-year, the import of food preparations rose by 1.4 thsd metric tons (+33.8%) compared to August 2023.

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 2.8 thsd metric tons (+98.5%).

YTD, the import of food preparations amounted to 69.1 thsd metric tons, which is 41.6 thsd metric tons (2.5 times) more compared to the same period last year.
