According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of animal feed (HS Code: 2309) totaled 8.7 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 102.1 metric tons (+1.2%).
The import of animal feed year-on-year, compared to August 2023, grew by 735.7 metric tons (+9.2%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 3.2 thsd metric tons (+56.6%).
The YTD import of animal feed reached 69.4 thsd metric tons, increasing by 8.2 thsd metric tons (+13.4%) compared to last year.
