According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in April 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) totaled 1.1 K MT.

Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 469.4 MT (+73.6%).

Year-on-year, the import of unmanufactured tobacco rose by 169.4 MT (+18.1%) compared to April 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (April 2022), the import increased by 142.6 MT (+14.8%).

YTD, the import of unmanufactured tobacco totaled 3.3 K MT, which is 436.9 MT (-11.6%) less than last year's figure.
