Kazakhstan: Imports of unmanufactured tobacco for July 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in July 2024 amounted to 817.7 metric tons.

The import dropped by 67.6 metric tons (-7.6%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to July 2023, the import of unmanufactured tobacco year-on-year decreased by 730.5 metric tons (-47.2%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import declined by 123.3 metric tons (-13.1%).

Year-to-date, the import of unmanufactured tobacco reached 6.4 thsd metric tons, down by 1.3 thsd metric tons (-16.6%) compared to last year.
