According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) in May 2025 amounted to 952.7 metric tons.

The import decreased by 10.8 metric tons (-1.1%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to May 2024, the import of unmanufactured tobacco showed a year-on-year decrease of 380.3 metric tons (-28.5%).

The import dropped by 114.8 metric tons (-10.8%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2023).

Year-to-date, the import of unmanufactured tobacco totaled 6.7 thsd metric tons, up by 2.1 thsd metric tons (+44.5%) compared to the previous year.
