According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in September 2025, the import of unmanufactured tobacco (HS Code: 2401) amounted to 1.5 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 467.3 metric tons (+43.6%).

Year-on-year, the import of unmanufactured tobacco rose by 65.9 metric tons (+4.5%) compared to September 2024.

Relative to the same month two years ago (September 2023), the import rose by 318.4 metric tons (+26.1%).

The import of unmanufactured tobacco YTD amounted to 13.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 4.2 thsd metric tons (+47.4%).
