According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in March 2025, the import of precious ores (HS Code: 2616) amounted to 4.9 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 73.3 metric tons (-1.5%).
Year-on-year, the import of precious ores declined by 1.8 thsd metric tons (-26.9%) compared to March 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (March 2023), the import showed a decrease of 7.8 thsd metric tons (2.6 times).
The YTD import of precious ores reached 16.5 thsd metric tons, increasing by 24.4 metric tons (remained nearly unchanged) compared to last year.
