According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of electricity (HS Code: 2716) in November 2024 amounted to 566.0 mln kWh.
The import grew by 99.9 mln kWh (+21.4%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of electricity rose by 312.1 mln kWh (2.2 times) compared to November 2023.
Relative to the same month two years ago (November 2022), the import rose by 318.5 mln kWh (2.3 times).
Year-to-date, the import of electricity reached 4.2 B kWh, down by 210.9 mln kWh (-4.8%) compared to last year.
