According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of electricity (HS Code: 2716) amounted to 492.3 mln kWh.
The import increased by 24.7 mln kWh (+5.3%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of electricity dropped by 209.8 mln kWh (-29.9%) compared to July 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import showed a decrease of 1.2 B kWh (3.4 times).
The YTD import of electricity amounted to 2.1 B kWh, decreasing by 237.2 mln kWh (-10.0%) compared to the same period last year.
