, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) in May 2024 amounted to 3.8 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (+40.4%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of soap dropped by 258.3 metric tons (-6.4%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (+43.7%).
The YTD import of soap amounted to 14.1 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 1.6 thsd metric tons (-9.9%) compared to the same period last year.
