Kazakhstan: Imports of soap for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) in May 2024 amounted to 3.8 K MT.

The import increased by 1.1 K MT (+40.4%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of soap dropped by 258.3 MT (-6.4%) compared to May 2023.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 1.1 K MT (+43.7%).

The YTD import of soap amounted to 14.1 K MT, decreasing by 1.6 K MT (-9.9%) compared to the same period last year.
