According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of soap (HS Code: 3401) in August 2024 amounted to 3.1 thsd metric tons.

The import decreased by 335.1 metric tons (-9.7%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of soap dropped by 2.3 thsd metric tons (-42.2%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import rose by 367.9 metric tons (+13.3%).

The import of soap YTD amounted to 24.2 thsd metric tons, falling by 7.9 thsd metric tons (-24.5%) compared to the previous year.
