Kazakhstan: Imports of surfactants for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of surfactants (HS Code: 3402) amounted to 15.6 thsd metric tons.

The import increased by 1.0 thsd metric tons (+7.2%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to May 2023, the import of surfactants year-on-year decreased by 3.7 thsd metric tons (-19.2%).

Relative to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import rose by 5.8 thsd metric tons (+59.1%).

The YTD import of surfactants amounted to 64.2 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 6.5 thsd metric tons (-9.2%) compared to the same period last year.
