The import decreased by 4.8 thsd metric tons (-41.2%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to August 2024, the import of vinyl polymers showed a year-on-year decrease of 4.0 thsd metric tons (-37.0%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import showed a decrease of 3.1 thsd metric tons (-31.4%).
The import of vinyl polymers YTD amounted to 83.1 thsd metric tons, exceeding last year's value by 25.3 thsd metric tons (+43.9%).
