Kazakhstan: Imports of plastic containers for June 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of plastic containers (HS Code: 3923) in June 2024 amounted to 9.4 thsd metric tons.

The import increased by 479.7 metric tons (+5.4%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to June 2023, the import of plastic containers year-on-year decreased by 1.8 thsd metric tons (-15.8%).

The import grew by 1.5 thsd metric tons (+19.4%) compared to the same month two years ago (June 2022).

The YTD import of plastic containers amounted to 52.4 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 2.2 thsd metric tons (-4.0%) compared to the same period last year.
