Kazakhstan: Imports of plastic articles for March 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of plastic articles (HS Code: 3926) in March 2024 reached 2.5 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 149.0 metric tons (+6.3%).
In comparison to March 2023, the import of plastic articles showed a year-on-year decrease of 103.1 metric tons (-3.9%).
The import dropped by 35.1 metric tons (-1.4%) compared to the same month two years ago (March 2022).
YTD, the import of plastic articles amounted to 1.2 mln metric tons, which is 1.2 mln metric tons (158.8 times) more compared to the same period last year.
