According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of plastic articles (HS Code: 3926) in February 2025 reached 3.1 thsd metric tons.
The import increased by 374.8 metric tons (+13.8%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to February 2024, the import of plastic articles year-on-year increased by 698.3 metric tons (+29.3%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2023), the import increased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (+55.0%).
YTD, the import of plastic articles totaled 5.8 thsd metric tons, which is 1.2 mln metric tons (204.0 times) less than last year's figure.
