According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of tyres (HS Code: 4011) totaled 550.2 thsd pcs.

The import decreased by 188.1 thsd pcs (-25.5%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to May 2023, the import of tyres showed a year-on-year decrease of 14.4 thsd pcs (-2.5%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 143.1 thsd pcs (+35.1%).

The import of tyres YTD amounted to 3.3 mln pcs, exceeding last year's value by 178.9 thsd pcs (+5.7%).
