According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bags and suitcases (HS Code: 4202) in June 2024 amounted to 3.5 mln pcs.
The import grew by 387.2 thsd pcs (+12.3%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of bags and suitcases dropped by 545.9 thsd pcs (-13.4%) compared to June 2023.
Two years ago, in the same month (June 2022), the import increased by 534.5 thsd pcs (+17.9%).
The import of bags and suitcases YTD amounted to 13.3 mln pcs, falling by 16.9 mln pcs (2.3 times) compared to the previous year.
