According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of bags and suitcases (HS Code: 4202) totaled 4.4 mln pcs.
The import grew by 886.5 thsd pcs (+25.2%) compared to the previous month.
The import of bags and suitcases year-on-year, compared to July 2023, grew by 202.1 thsd pcs (+4.8%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import increased by 78.8 thsd pcs (+1.8%).
Year-to-date, the import of bags and suitcases reached 17.7 mln pcs, down by 16.7 mln pcs (-48.6%) compared to last year.
