According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in July 2024, the import of artificial fabrics (HS Code: 5408) totaled 122.6 mln m2.
The import increased by 14.2 mln m2 (+13.1%) compared to the previous month.
In comparison to July 2023, the import of artificial fabrics showed a year-on-year increase of 79.3 mln m2 (2.8 times).
Relative to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import rose by 107.0 mln m2 (7.9 times).
The import of artificial fabrics YTD amounted to 565.5 mln m2, exceeding last year's value by 353.3 mln m2 (2.7 times).
