Kazakhstan: Imports of cut flowers for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of cut flowers (HS Code: 603) in May 2024 amounted to 17.2 mln pcs.
The import grew by 2.3 mln pcs (+15.2%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of cut flowers rose by 5.3 mln pcs (+44.5%) compared to May 2023.
Two years ago, in the same month (May 2022), the import increased by 8.9 mln pcs (2.1 times).
YTD, the import of cut flowers amounted to 72.8 mln pcs, which is 19.4 mln pcs (+36.2%) more compared to the same period last year.
