According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of iron semifinished products (HS Code: 7207) in February 2025 amounted to 42.8 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 3.4 thsd metric tons (+8.6%).

Year-on-year, the import of iron semifinished products dropped by 19.6 thsd metric tons (-31.4%) compared to February 2024.

In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2023), the import showed a decrease of 3.9 thsd metric tons (-8.4%).

YTD, the import of iron semifinished products totaled 82.1 thsd metric tons, which is 38.0 thsd metric tons (-31.6%) less than last year's figure.
