According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of flat rolled steel (HS Code: 7208) in October 2024 amounted to 17.4 thsd metric tons.

Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 235.4 metric tons (+1.4%).

Year-on-year, the import of flat rolled steel declined by 668.6 metric tons (-3.7%) compared to October 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (October 2022), the import rose by 4.2 thsd metric tons (+31.8%).

YTD, the import of flat rolled steel amounted to 230.6 thsd metric tons, which is 14.9 thsd metric tons (+6.9%) more compared to the same period last year.
