Year-on-year, the import of flat rolled steel dropped by 12.1 thsd metric tons (-43.1%) compared to February 2024.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (February 2023), the import showed a decrease of 3.6 thsd metric tons (-18.2%).
YTD, the import of flat rolled steel totaled 49.5 thsd metric tons, which is 11.8 thsd metric tons (-19.3%) less than last year's figure.
