Kazakhstan: Imports of hot-rolled coils for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of hot-rolled coils (HS Code: 7213) in August 2024 reached 7.4 thsd metric tons.

The import increased by 2.1 thsd metric tons (+38.3%) compared to the previous month.

Compared to August 2023, the import of hot-rolled coils year-on-year decreased by 2.4 thsd metric tons (-24.8%).

The import dropped by 2.5 thsd metric tons (-25.2%) compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022).

The YTD import of hot-rolled coils amounted to 68.7 thsd metric tons, decreasing by 14.5 thsd metric tons (-17.4%) compared to the same period last year.
