According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in March 2024, the import of steel bars (HS Code: 7228) totaled 8.6 K MT.
The import grew by 1.9 K MT (+27.5%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of steel bars dropped by 1.9 K MT (-18.1%) compared to March 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (March 2022), the import showed a decrease of 2.0 K MT (-19.1%).
The YTD import of steel bars amounted to 22.5 K MT, decreasing by 3.9 K MT (-14.7%) compared to the same period last year.
