, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of steel bars (HS Code: 7228) in July 2024 amounted to 15.3 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 8.6 thsd metric tons (2.3 times).
Year-on-year, the import of steel bars rose by 7.3 thsd metric tons (+92.1%) compared to July 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (July 2022), the import increased by 8.9 thsd metric tons (2.4 times).
The YTD import of steel bars reached 64.3 thsd metric tons, increasing by 2.0 thsd metric tons (+3.3%) compared to last year.
