Kazakhstan: Imports of large-diameter steel pipes for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of large-diameter steel pipes (HS Code: 7305) in August 2024 reached 36.3 thsd metric tons.

The import increased by 25.7 thsd metric tons (3.4 times) compared to the previous month.

Compared to August 2023, the import of large-diameter steel pipes year-on-year increased by 2.0 thsd metric tons (+5.9%).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 21.9 thsd metric tons (2.5 times).

YTD, the import of large-diameter steel pipes totaled 82.1 thsd metric tons, which is 131.5 thsd metric tons (2.6 times) less than last year's figure.
