According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of aluminium sheets (HS Code: 7606) amounted to 1.3 thsd metric tons.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 1.1 thsd metric tons (-45.8%).
Year-on-year, the import of aluminium sheets dropped by 655.3 metric tons (-33.9%) compared to August 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 130.3 metric tons (+11.4%).
The YTD import of aluminium sheets reached 19.1 thsd metric tons, increasing by 5.2 thsd metric tons (+37.8%) compared to last year.
