, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in December 2024 amounted to 10.8 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 2.3 thsd metric tons (+27.1%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to December 2023, the import of bananas year-on-year increased by 3.9 thsd metric tons (+57.2%).
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import increased by 3.3 thsd metric tons (+44.2%).
The YTD import of bananas reached 85.6 thsd metric tons, increasing by 9.6 thsd metric tons (+12.7%) compared to last year.
