, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of bananas (HS Code: 803) in April 2024 amounted to 9.3 thsd metric tons.
The import grew by 856.5 metric tons (+10.1%) compared to the previous month.
Compared to April 2023, the import of bananas year-on-year increased by 1.9 thsd metric tons (+26.2%).
Two years ago, in the same month (April 2022), the import increased by 1.6 thsd metric tons (+20.2%).
Year-to-date, the import of bananas totaled 32.3 thsd metric tons, up by 5.2 thsd metric tons (+19.1%) compared to the previous year.
