According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of earth-moving machines (HS Code: 8430) in August 2024 amounted to 4.8 thsd pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 1.2 thsd pcs (+35.1%).
Year-on-year, the import of earth-moving machines dropped by 207.0 pcs (-4.1%) compared to August 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 3.7 thsd pcs (4.3 times).
YTD, the import of earth-moving machines totaled 15.9 thsd pcs, which is 16.8 thsd pcs (2.1 times) less than last year's figure.
