Kazakhstan: Imports of washing machines for August 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of washing machines (HS Code: 8450) in August 2024 amounted to 48.7 thsd pcs.

Compared to the previous month, the import dropped by 17.2 thsd pcs (-26.1%).

Year-on-year, the import of washing machines rose by 7.6 thsd pcs (+18.4%) compared to August 2023.

Relative to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import declined by 41.0 thsd pcs (-45.7%).

YTD, the import of washing machines totaled 471.8 thsd pcs, which is 324.0 pcs (remained nearly unchanged) less than last year's figure.
