According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in March 2024, the import of power tools (HS Code: 8467) totaled 530.8 thsd pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import increased by 155.4 thsd pcs (+41.4%).
Year-on-year, the import of power tools rose by 130.9 thsd pcs (+32.7%) compared to March 2023.
Two years ago, in the same month (March 2022), the import increased by 336.5 thsd pcs (2.7 times).
YTD, the import of power tools amounted to 1.4 mln pcs, which is 514.8 thsd pcs (+57.2%) more compared to the same period last year.
