According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of calculating machines (HS Code: 8470) amounted to 258.3 thsd pcs.
The import increased by 12.7 thsd pcs (+5.2%) compared to the previous month.
Year-on-year, the import of calculating machines dropped by 246.2 thsd pcs (-48.8%) compared to May 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (May 2022), the import increased by 201.7 thsd pcs (4.6 times).
YTD, the import of calculating machines totaled 910.5 thsd pcs, which is 2.1 mln pcs (3.4 times) less than last year's figure.
