According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, the import of machinery (HS Code: 8479) in August 2024 amounted to 16.5 thsd pcs.

The import decreased by 10.0 thsd pcs (-37.7%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of machinery rose by 4.1 thsd pcs (+33.1%) compared to August 2023.

Two years ago, in the same month (August 2022), the import increased by 4.5 thsd pcs (+38.0%).

The import of machinery YTD amounted to 215.3 thsd pcs, exceeding last year's value by 92.3 thsd pcs (+75.1%).
