According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2025, the import of machinery (HS Code: 8479) totaled 153.2 thsd pcs.

The import dropped by 121.9 thsd pcs (-44.3%) compared to the previous month.

In comparison to August 2024, the import of machinery showed a year-on-year increase of 136.7 thsd pcs (9.3 times).

In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2023), the import increased by 140.8 thsd pcs (12.4 times).

The YTD import of machinery reached 1.6 mln pcs, increasing by 1.3 mln pcs (7.2 times) compared to last year.
