Kazakhstan: Imports of transformers for December 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in December 2024, the import of transformers (HS Code: 8504) amounted to 1.8 mln pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import grew by 768.5 thsd pcs (+77.4%).
Year-on-year, the import of transformers dropped by 3.4 mln pcs (2.9 times) compared to December 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (December 2022), the import showed a decrease of 2.3 mln pcs (2.3 times).
The import of transformers YTD amounted to 23.6 mln pcs, falling by 33.2 mln pcs (2.4 times) compared to the previous year.
