Kazakhstan: Imports of transformers for May 2024

According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of transformers (HS Code: 8504) amounted to 2.5 mln pcs.

The import decreased by 299.1 thsd pcs (-10.8%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of transformers declined by 2.6 mln pcs (2.0 times) compared to May 2023.

The import grew by 132.4 thsd pcs (+5.6%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).

The YTD import of transformers amounted to 15.3 mln pcs, decreasing by 7.9 mln pcs (-34.0%) compared to the same period last year.
