According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in May 2024, the import of electrical machinery (HS Code: 8543) amounted to 207.7 thsd pcs.

The import decreased by 79.7 thsd pcs (-27.7%) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of electrical machinery rose by 4.7 thsd pcs (+2.3%) compared to May 2023.

The import dropped by 68.0 thsd pcs (-24.7%) compared to the same month two years ago (May 2022).

YTD, the import of electrical machinery amounted to 2.5 mln pcs, which is 2.0 mln pcs (5.9 times) more compared to the same period last year.
