According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of Kazakhstan , analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of electrical machinery (HS Code: 8543) totaled 62.1 thsd pcs.

The import decreased by 104.6 thsd pcs (2.7 times) compared to the previous month.

Year-on-year, the import of electrical machinery rose by 24.0 thsd pcs (+63.0%) compared to August 2023.

Compared to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import decreased by 313.1 thsd pcs (6.0 times).

Year-to-date, the import of electrical machinery totaled 3.0 mln pcs, up by 2.4 mln pcs (4.8 times) compared to the previous year.
