According to data from the Bureau of National Statistics of
Kazakhstan
, analyzed by StatSpotlight.com, in August 2024, the import of trucks (HS Code: 8704) amounted to 1.1 thsd pcs.
Compared to the previous month, the import decreased by 37.0 pcs (-3.2%).
Year-on-year, the import of trucks dropped by 229.0 pcs (-17.2%) compared to August 2023.
In comparison to the same month two years ago (August 2022), the import increased by 377.0 pcs (+51.7%).
YTD, the import of trucks totaled 9.5 thsd pcs, which is 2.8 thsd pcs (-22.6%) less than last year's figure.
